Ceramic Coating on White Porsche

There's nothing quite like a Porsche to stop the traffic, especially if it's as gleam-envy as this one. Not only does it give off a wet-look, lustrous look, the coating will also keep away the oxidation for much longer.

 

Hydrophobia and Contact Angle

A hydrophobic, self-cleaning surface requires a high static water contact angle, the condition often quoted is θ>160° to indicate the minimum inclination angle necessary for water to bead, pick up dirt particles, and roll off a surface due to its minimum adhesion. This effect is also called the Lotus Effect because lotus leaf has a double-structured surface that can reach a contact angle of 170°.

The contact angle is measured by the time vapour interface meets a solid surface. It quantifies the wettability applying the Young-Laplace equation; figured by a straight line that starts at the base and travels along its outer surface to the break-off point. It provides a way to determine the protection at surface level.

Formations of large, packed droplets demonstrate that the surface is effectively non-absorbing, otherwise known as the “water break test” or ASTM F-22 which are often used to check for cleanliness.

SiO2 Ultra-Thin Layering

CS-II titanium coating is a Nano Technology which creates a flexible and breathable glass coating and is approximately 67 micron Quartz coating thick 500 times thinner than a human hair.
It is a special coating technically known as SiO2 ultra-thin layering.

It is non-toxic promises to protect virtually any surface against almost any damage from hazards such as water, UV radiation, dirt, heat, and bacterial infections. The coating is also flexible and breathable, which makes it suitable for use on an enormous array of products.

The liquid glass coating spray, technically termed “SiO2 ultra-thin layering, consists of almost pure silicon dioxide, silica, the normal compound in glass) extracted from quartz sand. Water or ethanol is added, depending on the type of surface to be coated. There are no additives, and the nano-scale glass coating bonds to the surface because of the quantum forces involved.

According to the manufacturers, liquid glass has a long-lasting antibacterial effect because microbes landing on the surface cannot divide or replicate easily.

Paint Protection System on Paint Surfaces

Paint surfaces are porous and not perfect; containing microscopic peaks and valleys. These irregularities are otherwise known as capillary structure that either contains or will draw contaminants such as fine dirt and minerals.

A nominally uniform coating will help to lessen the coefficient of kinetic friction by filling up the fissures with micro particles to produce a smoother, infinitely glossier surface.

Understanding Coating

When applied to a clean, prepped surface, the coating will take on properties that basically emulate hardened glass that exhibit measurable thickness, like films to protect the surface from UV, wash-induced damages, oxidation, salts, and even permanent ink. Coatings can be applied to glass and wheel surfaces as well, adding shine and providing protection while at the same time, keeping them easy to clean.

Coatings are chemically inert, meaning that the treated surface will react with base materials such as dirt which often causes organic staining. They reduce the hydroscopic nature of surfaces exposed to pollution, industrial or environmental, so chemical compounds and minerals such as tree saps and acid rains are considerably easier to take off.

Of course, things such as maintenance and washing techniques will make a difference in the long run when trying to keep the coating surface swirl free. Educating customers about the benefits and limitations of a coating can go a long way in maintaining the integrity of the coating.

CS-II Ceramic Coating

CS-II Ceramic Coating is a permanent coating which only requires a single, thin coating and provides long-term shine and protection.

By inter-locking part of its molecular structure with the surface molecules of your paintwork, the result is a coating that will not be washed off like a wax.

CS-II Ceramic coating greatly reduces the penetration of heat, helping to protect the finish of the vehicle. Once treated with CS-II Ceramic Coating, your vehicle will repel water and contaminants like a lotus-leaf and it will maintain a clear, reflective, showroom like shine. CS-II Ceramic Coating cannot be removed by water, alkaline or other detergents, or by pressure washers.

When Professionally applied to a car paint surface, the CS-II Ceramic Coating inhibits the penetration of heat from the surface of the paint, keeping the heat out. The coating can also be applied to other chrome components. One application can last up to 3 years.

The Pencil Hardness of One Layer of Our Titanium Coating and We're Giving You Two

What is pencil hardness?
Pencil hardness is the capacity of a given coated surface to resist scratching, marring or gouging by utilizing a value scale that ranges from the softest 6B to the hardest 9H.

How is the test done?

It's a very simple, standard test by going down the pencil grades as you start scratching a coated surface until you come to the first pencil that doesn't scratch the coating.

By using CS-II Titanium Paint Preservation System, you'd actually come away with two layers of actual 9H hardness with a glass-like, transparent texture that will also helps to smooth the unevenness of the surface to provide hydrophobicity.

CS-II Coating With Filling Capabilities

It is not yet perfected, but these are the kind of results that can be reached when a car is sent in for paint correcting. It won't replace the need of grooming, per se, but the filling isn't going to be temporary because it's the coating that will be doing the filing.

Titanium Coating on Lexus RC450 Coupe

Probably one of my personal favourite; guaranteed to invite riot during traffic with how glossy it is.

This Lexus RC450 Coupe is coated with a double layered Titanium Coating to make the colour pop and the surface inexplicably smooth and shiny while at the same time, giving depth and wet-look effect to this beautiful blue.

We also coated the rims using Rim Coating to emphasize the contrast of the rims and making it much easier to clean from break dust.
