CS-II Titanium Coating

It is the finest automotive titanium coating on the planet, and this is a car paint I’m referring to. The name of it is CS-II Titanium Coating and it is the next generation of protective coating for automotive surfaces. The extremely long-lasting crystal coat acts as a protective armor against acid rain, bird droppings, road film, tar and harmful UV rays. It maintains the luster and color of the paint on your car because CS-II Titanium has the best grade of hardness (9h). Also, the adhesive strength of the paint will minimize the appearance of light scratches and uphold the superior quality of the color of your car., thus protecting and giving the paint longer life cycle. Another key benefit of this titanium coating is that it offers a deep rich gloss and finish. Ultimately, this makes future washing of your vehicle faster and easier!

CS-II Leather Coating on Model X's White Interior

CS-II USA Richard Lin coated a Model X's pure white interior with our CS-II Leather Coating to provide surface level protection without having to alter the look or the feel of the leather.

Car interiors get dirty very fast, especially white, beige, and tan leathers and it's frustrating. It is also incredibly hard to maintain from scuff marks, jeans stain, and water stains. Layering the coating on top will make the leather retains a hydrophobic characteristics and make it more resistance to stains.

Understanding CS-II Titanium Coating vs Competition

Know Your Stuff!

Before committing to any sort of coating, be sure to understand what it means to put one on. Our Ceramic and Titanium Coating are liquid chemical that hardens into a filmy, glass-like texture on your lacquer, which is exactly where it needs to cling, locking the hardness to create a smooth barrier of sort between the paintwork and foreign contaminants.

Compared to other third party resin, this interlocking bond system will help the coating to last more permanently and competently, reducing the chances of watermarks with its hydrophobicity and providing more resistance to scratches.

Old vs New Titanium Coating Hydrophobicity

Our bosses playing with water at CS-II USA workshop. Of course, the point is showing off the old vs new Titanium hydrophobicity :)

Lotus Effect

A hydrophobic, self-cleaning surface requires a high static water contact angle, the condition often quoted is θ>160° to indicate the minimum inclination angle necessary for water to bead, pick up dirt particles, and roll off a surface due to its minimum adhesion. This effect is also called the Lotus Effect because lotus leaf has a double-structured surface that can reach a contact angle of 170°.

The contact angle is measured by the time vapour interface meets a solid surface. It quantifies the wettability applying the Young-Laplace equation; figured by a straight line that starts at the base and travels along its outer surface to the break-off point. It provides a way to determine the protection at surface level.

Formations of large, packed droplets demonstrate that the surface is effectively non-absorbing, otherwise known as the “water break test” or ASTM F-22 which are often used to check for cleanliness.

Titanium Coating's Cross Links

Titanium Coating works by bonding to your factory clear lacquer, becoming a permanent part of your vehicles paint system by chemically chemically to the clear coat.

During prep work, all surface contamination, wax, minerals, oils, and defects are removed. The Coating is mostly self-leveling. Any high spots are manually leveled by the technician to produce an even coat. Once complete, the surface is touch dry within thirty minutes.

Titanium Coating will continue to cross-link and harden. Within twelve hours it is resistant to chemicals as it is exposed to room temperature.

Preservation Spa Wash

Many consumers have an incorrect assumption that by putting on paint coatings, then there would be no maintenance required. That is wrong; because routine washing is crucial as the coating will still be covered by contamination such as dirt and dust. Most customers will start to notice a decline in the hydrophobicity after a few months and the roughness of surface.

Removing these contaminants is important on a regular basis and it is recommended to use a car wash concentrate that will not leave behind surfactants or alkaline additives, which breaks down surface tension.

CS-II also provides preservation spa wash with added benefits such as vacuum, usage of body and tyre shine solution, as well as claybar washing using polymer pads to remove the roughness from the car surface.

CS-II RIM Coating

Not only your paintwork, but your rims are also very precious (and expensive to replace). When speaking about rims, break dust is the definite number one problem for most car owners since they are very stubborn and difficult to clean.

There is no sure way of preventing it, but there sure is a way of making it much easier to clean while at the same time keeping the rims shiny and reducing the abrasion by applying RIM Coating.

Comes with a one year warranty, CS-II RIM Coating goes onto most rims material and last effectively up to ten months or more.

Price starts at S$35 per rim.

Nanotechnology in Relation to Detailing

Although extremely small, most detailing products are technically not nano in size. Most coatings are also not true nanotubule technology as this can cause a serious health concern for the consumers and cost a ridiculous amount of money. The context of nano as it relates to detailing is a relative indicator of size as they are submicron particles that form a matrix chain-link that comprise a thin, structured layer of dense, tightly packed particles that interlace on a molecular basis to form an extension to the hard-wearing surface. This bond is virtually impenetrable and not easily breached by chemicals or detergents.

The significance of a nano tech coating is the micro-sized particles forming a foolproof bond with the surface layer of most material with surface undulations, be it glass, paint, alloy, plastic, aluminum, chrome, and stainless steel and then sealing the micro cracks and voids to form an anchored foundation, creating a barrier that is similar to glass. This is why a clean and dry surface, free of oil and wax, is so important.

On the coating surface, the water will evaporate and leaves behind on the micro structure. This will help to reduce light scattering and reflects them instead, vastly improving the surface clarity.

Paintless Dent Repair

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR), also known as "paintless dent removal", is the art of removing door dings and small dents by gently massaging them out from the interior of a panel. By gaining access to the inside skin of the metal, gentle pressure is applied until the dent is removed. Because PDR works from behind the vehicle’s damage, no sanding, painting or body fillers are required. When repairs are completed, there should be no evidence a dent was ever there.

We are now offering a Paintless Dent Repair service for all our customers. Our technicians have received training from prominent Paintless Dent Repair specialists overseas so that we can offer the best of services to our customers.

CS-II Titanium Coating

Titanium Coating undergoes a chain of chemical reaction when it comes into direct contact with a painted surface. Its tightly packed nano-molecular structure will fill out the porous surface of the paintwork, evening out the micro-fissures while bonding with the paint itself, creating a hydrophobic surface that at the same time improves surface clarity and reduce light scattering to heighten light reflectance.

The water repelling nature enables an easy-to-clean partially self-cleaning surface that will let you to easily wash off dirt, minerals such as salts, calcium, oil, grease, and similar pollutant, while the light reflectance will help you to bounce of the shine in just the right way, creating a deep lustrous gloss effect.

Sealants vs Coatings

Sealants, sometimes described as synthetic liquid waxes, are synthetic products designed for paint protection in the long run. Composed of mainly amino functional polymers, they are easy to apply and last longer than wax while remaining more stable for longer in providing resistance to elements. Although varying in length, sealants generally last for three to six months tops.

Coating, on the other hand, when applied to clean surface is capable of film build. The chemically inert nature of this coating means that it’s impervious to bonding with foreign agents and thereby reducing the soiling of paint surface.
